Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the ScholarShip website and services. By accessing or purchasing a plan, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or purchasing any plan, you confirm that you are at least 16 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent.

2. Description of Service

ScholarShip provides a curated scholarship database, application tools, mentoring sessions, and related educational resources to help students find and apply for US-based scholarships. Access is granted upon purchase of a one-time lifetime plan (Starter, Scholar, or Elite).

3. One-Time Payment & Lifetime Access

Plans are sold as one-time payments granting lifetime access to the features described at the time of purchase. "Lifetime" refers to the lifetime of the ScholarShip platform. In the unlikely event that the platform is discontinued, we will provide at least 90 days notice and a prorated refund where applicable.

4. Account Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You may not share, sell, or transfer your account to any other person.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Copy, redistribute, or resell any content from the ScholarShip database.
  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems.
  • Upload or transmit malware, viruses, or harmful code.
  • Misrepresent your identity or academic qualifications.

6. No Guarantee of Scholarship Award

ScholarShip provides tools, resources, and curated information to improve your chances of finding and applying for scholarships. We do not guarantee that you will be awarded any scholarship. Scholarship decisions are made solely by the awarding organizations and are outside our control.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the ScholarShip platform, including but not limited to text, databases, templates, guides, and software, is the exclusive property of ScholarShip and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the content solely for your personal scholarship applications.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ScholarShip shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for your plan.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 30 days in advance. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration or in the competent courts of the jurisdiction where ScholarShip operates.
